Well missus given verdict on upgrading to FL2 and "computer says no" and dont mention again - you know the one! So thoughts turned back to upgrading bumpers to late or going to all black plastics (looks sharper than grey) or how about colour coding all the plastic? looking on Goog images saw this, "more than just paint me thinks" look for USA - I like, it I think?

Land Rover Freelander Callaway (2002) with pictures and wallpapers

Anywho, my question is has anybody colour coded there motor and do they have pics to share?

"Just 13 Freelanders were sold in the entire United States in the first two months of 2006, making it one of the slowest-selling vehicles available."

And who said Americans were stupid???

They are stupid..

They didn't buy the Freelander cus its too small for them. You could park one in the back of one of their Chevy pickups.

Really not interested in other forum members view of my choice of car!

Any thoughts on the colour coding, any examples would be useful.

Just had a look at the motor in the link and me fooking eyes have been raped.

Why the fook would some one do that to a motor it looks like a right fooking chav mobile.

Yeah im not sure about this one but could it be done more tastefully and not look chavy?

Ahemmm!!

I was actually referring to the Americains being stupid, not the car.

I drive a Freelander.... Oh I give up

My comment was not aimed at you Darmain. Understood your comment, just a bit bored with usual!

I wouldn't bother with colour coding unless you've time to smooth out all the bumpers and do a decent spray job... spraying them without smoothing them will just look bad.

I'd go for the bumper upgrade or black bumpers if i were you. depends how much time and money you want to spend really. The bumpers are nice, but you won't get your money back from the upgrade... but if you're planning on keeping the car till something big goes bust then it's a nice upgrade really.

The pic of the blue freeby you posted was a concept i think, none for sale and certainly can't get hold of that bodykit anywhere.

Why are we worrying what it looks like? Its a Landy!! Therefore its an action machine. That means its not into crisp lines and aesthetics. I mean, you see these Defenders all polished up with sparkling alloy wheels and low profile tyres. Its wrong and its cruelty to Landrovers. They are meant to be out there, getting muddy and (occationally) stuck.

There, thats better!! :D

How about putting the bumper upgrade money towards a facelift FL1 instead of a FL2
