Hi, I have a 2012 sdv6 3lt Range Rover Sport Autobiography. It has the full tailgate as apposed to a split set up. I came down one morning to find the boot had opened during the night. Since then it seems prone to opening itself when unlocking and getting into the car. I have read that moisture can corrode the tailgate switch and could cause this.

Any ideas before I start replacing stuff?

Welcome to the loony zone.
Does it have the remote sensor that you can wave your foot across that opens/closes it?

I don't think so. When opening the car (has keyless entry) it often pops and opens the boot as well. Yesterday it opened before I could start up, I closed it and got back in, it opened itself again, and then a third time before I could start up and drive away.
I have put the car back into security mode, where it just unlocks the driver door. Seems like a temporary solution thus far.

Not up on your RR but does tailgate have a fuse/relay that operates it you could remove for the time being and pop back in if needs opening

Might need to do that but not very convenient. It opened again this evening while I was waiting in a car park. I'm now worried it will bowl over an old lady or smash on a wall if I've reversed parked. So annoying.
