Tailgate Open (Flashing Up)

Hi All,

I've recently changed my top tailgate on my L322 as it had gone very rusty. To the point of no return.

I sourced a very good condition tailgate, and fitted it at the weekend. But since then my screen keeps flashing up (Tailgate Open). I've checked the wiring and all the correct colours, etc are matched.

Is there a sensor on the tailgate itself??

Any help would be great.

Switch is in the lock mechanism....

I've changed over the lock from my original tailgate, but I'm still getting the same problem.

Then it is time to check the wiring thereto.....

I don't have the Rave Manuals

you download them, you can find them in the how to section top of page in Wammers air suspension check , about 4 down iirc.
