As the top coat dries on my newly acquired now non-rusty & mouldy lower tailgate, my thoughts turn to chains & brackets.

Having looked about, these chains seem a little tricky to come by & the real deal a little pricey, I thought I'd pop down to B&Q and buy some shiny new chains at a bargain price!

All I need to know however is.... How long are the chains?!:ballchain:

Can anyone help?

Cheers!

Buy them too long and trim them to exact length you require when you fit them.
They will make a racket when you drive on anything but good roads though. If you don't mind the noise, fine, but if you do, thread the chains through an old bike inner tube, works very well. You will also find that the chains jump off the tail gate hooks unless you tie them on.

If you look at the series 2 club site forum, there is a guy selling some on there are while ago.

Thanks for this - most useful!

And cheers everyone else too (even moody chops!)

B&Q here I come!
