Disco 1 Swivel thrust washer question

Hope someone can help, I have replaced the swivel on my ABS disco 1 and in the kit was the thrust washer FTC 124 and when reviewing the manuals, Rave and youtube videos there is no mention of this, just the fitting of the upper swivel mounting thrust washers and needle rollers.
If I fit it above the thrust washers and needle rollers, the upper swivel sits WAY high so am unsure on if I need it or not. As i say the vids from landrover toolbox dont show it and if i had one on mine originally it was worn out and I could not see it.
