Hi Guys

I have towed about 400miles and the disco once detached; overnight drops her suspension. Rear wheels up in the arches. When I start her up again she doesn't raise up. If I drive a while she comes back up to normal riding height. I don't have the up/down suspension button.

So that I don't have to go any distance before I re-hitch, would any of you guys know why she does this and what I could do while she is stationary to raise her to normal height.

In all other respects she drives, tows great.

Thanks, Matt

hi mate u need to check ur air bags to make sure u havent got any leaks first .check them with some soapy water in a spray bottle wen in flated and have a good look around them ..

The leak took a few goes to find, squirted the air springs initially but nothing, took the suspenssion up to its full height, nothing. Dropped her back down with no extra load in the vehicle and there it was a tiny leak off-side on the inside of the vehicle just on the crease. I guess at any other position the hole was sealed by itself sealing against its self. It would also explain why the suspenssion did not drop every time.

Thanks guys, if you hadn't have said it was a leak I'm not sure I'd have continued in looking for it.

Regards, Matt

So Matt, can I suggest again, get two air springs and do both sides, then you won't have to worry about them again, well not for probably 5 or 6 yrs anyway?

The Big Lad
I had already taken heed of your comment and based on the price you suggested understood this to mean both, so both air springs should be with me soon. It would have been daft not to do both while she's in the air. You don't buy one shoe at a time, although I guess you may get one knee op at a time. Anyway I know what your saying.

Thanks for the help, again guys

Matt
