Err can you explain this bit please?

In case I didn't explain properly:
All our driving days can only be driven by those with a current full UK driving licence. Similarly, Cross Country Vehicle Trial have this same rule.

However our Tyro trials can be driven by 13 y.o and above and those who have no driving licence within the Classes as explained above. The only proviso is that the driver must be accompanied on trial sections by a current full UK licence holder who has experience of driving at such competitive events.

Unfortunately while they can be signed on as passengers at a driving day event, they cannot drive.

Hope that explains it better

Dam.
Just noticed the driving day is Sunday.
I've written it on the calender as Saturday.:doh::doh:

Hi chaps,
Getting lane cravings. Weekends are hectic for a week or two.
Thinking about an evening, combination of late working and early mornings will limit me to a few hours only. can leave home 19:30 onwards.
Subject to traffic on route home maybe able to do tomorrow (27th).
Friday evening (28th)?
or Thursday evening (3rd Feb).
Anyone about?

Would love to do anytime. I work for myself so am free when I like lol. Also, being January, removals are quiet at the moment.

My disco should be on the road as of Saturday 29th Feb morning. I have sent you a PM Discodad with my number on.

Just been out for a few of lanes, we did three in the end, one we could not get along due to over growth and it was so narrow, may look at reporting it as it def was not 3m wide.

Can you PM the GR to me please, Stu.
Need to try and keep on top of these.

Just wondering why you think that a BOAT has to be 3metres wide as there is no specific width other than that which may be stated on the DMS.

I'd heard about a 3 meter rule somewhere and referred to it this evening whilst out & about with Stu.
Just done a bit of reading and found the following:
Width of public rights of way

There is no general rule applying to the width of public rights of way and the width is a matter of fact to be determined on each occasion, based upon the following. The width may be set out in an historical document, or it may be the width of the way between boundaries such as hedges or fences. Alternatively, the width may be that which the public have customarily enjoyed.

In the absence of any of these measurements, the Council will require a reasonable width to be made available which would be sufficient for two users to pass. In the case of a footpath, this can be regarded as 2 metres. In the case of a bridleway 3 metres and in the case of a byway 5 metres.

An encroachment into the width of a public right of way is an obstruction and a criminal offence.

Statutory default minimum widths apply to all rights of way, but only in relation to ploughing and reinstatement following ploughing.

These are as follows:

Headland (field edge) paths
Footpaths - 1.5 metres
Bridleways - 3 metres
RUPPs - 3 metres
BOATs - 3 metres
Cross-field paths
Footpaths - 1 metre
Bridleways - 2 metres
RUPPs - 3 metres
Boats - 3 metres

This lane is between two very tight hedges so the 3 meter rule wouldn't apply - well thats how i read it. Cheers Nick.

I have seen it writen somewhere in the past that there was a min for a Byway, but we all know that some are mostly just passable, Discodad as he said said the same last night, but this is shall we say a bit too narrow, i may have cut back the bush to get by in the day time but no way in the dark, and it did look like it was more than a couple if feet long,
