Done my First TYRO toady at the SLROC, had a fun time and will be going again, it was good to hnext one isave ago at something like that as it made off roading a bit more fun, my co-driver was great and his advice and input was great.

Thank you Geoff for your input, hope you had a good time.

Sounds like you had some fun!

Anyone want to do some lanes on Wednesday night (also posted on the Essex lanes thread).

Not for me since I have a few holes in my drivers footwell.

I have taken all the gromets out waiting for a plate to be welded before I hammerite the whole floor.

Can do after 8:30pm. Working up until then

Hi Matthew,
Getting a bit late for me, but where will you be at 8:30?
If your close to some lanes, might be OK.
I've mapped out a few lanes in Suffolk, but need to double check on the TRO's.

last updated my list over Christmas.
Cheers Nick.

I'll be in Martlesham at 8:30 ish. Could do Rendlesham?

Its good for me. I've spoken to Big Stu and he thinks he can make it.

Can we met at Melton railway station, say 08:30 or just after.
We can then go down into Sutton. There are several lanes down there, all close together. I've done a couple which were sandy with the odd puddle, so no chance of getting stuck:D

One of them does have a TRO, but the rest look clear. I'll plan a route this evening ensuring we miss the TRO'd lane.

If you finish work early phone me (just PM'd my mob) as I'm planning to do a new lane to me whilst on route to Melton.

Cheers Nick.

I will see you about 8:30pm ish at Melton Railway station in the carpark near the butchers.

I'll give you a call as I leave off from Martlesham to make sure you're defiantly there.

Anyone else coming?

I've got some parking sensors to fit at some point too :D

This Landy is going to get me into trouble all the time I'm spending on it :(

It was an ok night. Lanes in Sutton weren't very good - they were just sand.

I love the Sutton Heath lanes, easy on the motor, easy to drive and totally sustainable in any weather, much like the majority of Kings Forest.

The one at Rushmere was good. Shame is wasn't longer!

That one was TRO'd for about 2 years quite a few years back due to severe rutting at the Rushmere end. We thought we were going to lose it completely but common sense prevailed for once. Let's hope it doesn't get chewed up again as we won't be so lucky next time. That is actually one of those lanes to avoid during winter and prolonged wet weather, due to the ease with which it cuts up.
It is a very nice little lane though, I really like it and drove it at dusk in September.
