Stupid question???

Stupid question??? but... seems like my engine is heating up fast, ok I know its hot just lately, but even on the cold mornings it seems that way (but I dont know if its just my imagination ((like the song)) its not over heating, the needle is where it should be (maybe a tad over)

Should I have reason to concern myself with this small niggle

It's a diesel, so what do you call fast? Mine is up to temperature in 2 kilometres approximately in this weather.

Is your rad warm evenly?

My DSE was up to temp after a mile or so...never overheated....

Ok seem fine them... about 1 mile and its up to temperature
