stumped

hello im wondering if anyone has any advice or ideas my 300 tdi overheated and would not start, after striping the head gasket blown between 2and3 pistons two and three had fused to the rings all cylinders were honed checked with bore gauge and 4 new pistons rings fitted including big end shells,valve reseated etc, once built bleed fuel system fails to start started once breifly sounded great then died smokes alot on turning over white smoke:doh:

Did you skim the head ?.

has the pump timing been set?
