Hi there I think I have a seldom spoken of problem, Both of the key fobs were only opening/locking the door once every ten presses and then only when it was held up against the windows.

I have changed both batteries, and then re set the fobs, and it is only slightly different if at all, has anyone had this before or can help out as I am stumped now after holding the fob at all sorts of different angles and pressing the buttons. any help would be greatly appreciated

who reset the fobs? they could test if the ccu is receiving plip signal this will tell you if the receiver is possibly faulty

After a few years regular use all keyfobs can suffer from cracked solder around the bottom of the micro switches under the rubber buttons. It may be worth taking your fobs apart and resoldering around the buttons and the battery holder or if your soldering isn't up to scratch take it to any local tv/electrical repair shop and ask them to resolder it for you. Done it to mine and works better than ever.:D

Hi there, I to had the same problem and I bought myself a new case and battery of Ebay for about £3 and it works a treat now.

The rubber button had worn away a bit and the new one gets a good bite on the circuit board underneath.

i also had this problem and changing batteries didn't help,
i read that if you press one of the buttons upto 5 times quickly then it should reset the sync or summat like that,
although that didn't really work to start with but it did eventually.
