i had my last one nicked aswell, i was lucky and got it back but it was beyond repair in my eyes so i sold it on.
on my new one i aim to make a bracket to lock the front seat agaonst the steering wheel, have a disclock, a home made clutch claw made from 3mm box section,a hidden ignition cut off switch and also in the middle of designing a "quick release" mechanisom for my ecu and also a plate to stop anyone from fitting another ecu.
Im a surface engineer so all of the metal security devices i make/buy will be coated with the hvof system (it is a heat treatment which blasts a coat of what can only be described as a diamonds on a metal surface) in work which will be nearly impossible for a thief to drill/cut through.. probably a bit excessive but its MY landy and id like to keep it that way :D

*id like to make a correction, im a trainee engineer i.e not been doing the job long so my description of the hvof may/will be incorrect, what i do know is its tuff as foooook and will make a common thiefs life a lot harder!

High Velocity Oxygen Fuel ( application process ).
A lot of our valves are TCC Coated by the HVOF process, and yes, it certainly is very hard indeed ! :)
