Stolen 1988 Defender 90 3.5 V8

My beloved 'Big Blue' was stolen around 5:30am in Southport, north Merseyside. I've only had it 8 months and it was my first Landy. Bright blue in colour with white 'splash' graphics on both sides. Very ditinctive off-road vehicle, lift kit, insa turbo tires, rock sliders, full external roll cage welded to the chasis etc etc. Original Rover 3.5 V8 petrol, Vin number SALLDVB*******220. Engine number 24G*2***C.

Two boxes of school work had been left in the back - I need this back!!! I've lost GCSE & A-level coursework, exercise books etc, my students will be gutted and not best pleased to have to do their work again. Could have done with it yesterday when I struggled to get to work, taking over an hour to drive a usual 20 minute journey.

6pm this evening the phone rang, it was th police, the car has been recovered.

Where I hear you ask??? Kirkby, Liverpool of course.

It looks very different now, can't say too much until I see it next week but what a result!
