Steering wheel switches illumination?

Hi, should the steering wheel switches be illuminated on a 2005 V8 RR?

We're bracketed. So, which bulbs to replace?

Yep. they should be illuminated.
I assume they have never worked since you had the car?
Maybe there is an option to turn off?
Diagnostics?

Can't recall seeing any settings on diagnostics when I last looked

Have to remove steering wheel and airbag then the side switch panels....not sure they are openable

i thought they were led non replaceable light units.

might be worth checking for any loose plugs on the steering connections

Got the airbag out, pushed the connectors in slightly and now they are working, and at night I can even see them.
