Folks does anyone have a spare or know where I can get the spring that is located behind the steering wheel horn button. My local garage managed to lose mine and I’m struggling to find one?

many thanks

ben :)

I think I’d be telling your local garage to get it sorted. Failing that a scrappy, but they probably will want to sell you the full wheel.

Tbh I just want to sort it however as you’ve mentioned anyone whose breaking wants to sell the whole set up, I just want a spring :-(

I was at the Billing of road show yesterday & there were loads of D2 steering wheels there s/h some were only a fiver (v. tatty) but had the horn buttons so if you know anybody who's there (a group from ya local off road club ?) today give 'em a ring.

The little bugger popped out on me while on the motorway with my window down never to be seen again.
Here is where I bought my spring for about 4 quid part #QTC102700…

You can probably ask if they will have more to sell.

I also cut out the 3 plastic tabs in the hole the spring sits in with a slim chisel. This is so the button doesn’t sit so high on the steering wheel.
