steering box

hello ther nuts bolts poeple does eny body now iff a early disco steering box will fit defender ther is 3 pipes on the disco box but 1 pipe runs along the box from top to bottom and the other 2 as normal it looks the same just wondering iff enybody nows about this it was the first disco out
i would love to have some replyes tonight lol need it sorted real rocking a rolling allover the place now only matter off time my and my 90 will be going the rong way cheers peeps

any know body what question being is asked?

will the disco box fit the defender 90

just get a defender box you know that will fit

the 3rd pipe is transfer pipe on pas box feeds cyilnder you dont need to touch it ,there are 3 x box identified by number of bolts holding top cover on pas box 6 bolt and 4 bolt and 3 bolt ,4 bolt most common ,3 bolt the most heavy duty ,6 bolt and 4 bolt are completely interchangable, boxes arent vehicle specific so 4 bolt def is same as 4 bolt disco

well its more than likely you no the score then they all look the same i just havent done 1 yet looks easy anuff proveidn you got all the rite bits and tools prety strait forwould/ cheers james again
