hi, i need help, ive got a 2000 1.8 and it has a starting problem. when i turn the ignition some times it start fine and some times it takes a few goes before it will turn the stater over, once its running there are no problems. It sometimes starts when i hold the ignition on and wait for 5 to 10 seconds and it just kicks up, very strange. I've replaced the starter for a used one and it did the same, i've changed the battery for a new one and it does the same???? The imobilliser lights all go out fine.
someone said it could be the relay for the starter because sometimes its fine and then it just stops.
Didnt know if any of you had possible ideas on what it could be?
