Afternoon all,
Right, got another problem again!!! The series isn't starting for some reason, its been temperamental lately so I decided to replace the solenoid as it was on its way out anyway, but now, when I turn the key instead of the starter motor turning over theres nothing, not even a click. Im stumped any ideas?

Disconnect battery to solenoid lead. Take a piece of wire from the battery +ve terminal to the small terminal on the solenoid. If it doesn't click then either the battery's flat, the battery earth is very poor, the solenoid earth is poor or the solenoid is faulty. If it does click then it's the battery, ignition switch, solenoid circuit that's faulty. And yes, we know you meant starter motor, not alternator.

The results are in....it clicked!!
So, its gotta be either the ignition switch or the solenoid circuit. I know its not the battery as its only a couple of months old and has been working fine.

And lol, yes, not alternator starter motor.
