Hi Guys

1999 2.0 diesel L series.

Clutch replaced 18 months ago.

Driving tonight started to get a strange squealing noise when car at low speeds and especially when clutches is being engaged.

Car drives fine no problems getting the gears and no slippage or loss of power. Earlier did have a burning smell but this soon passed but this was the start of the issues.

Any ideas greatly apprieciated

bejezzers not another 2.0. Yup. ****ychops. Dispose! Do you ask your passengers to squeal when going up hills to try and increase the energy hitting the engine?

Update, got in it to drive to work this morning and the clutch pedal wont release and was stuck in reverse managed to get it out of gear into neutral.

Any help other than the comments from the above jokers apprieciate

the squealing sounds like clutch bearing.....on the other hand the pedal sounds like a hydraulic fault. Can you tell us more about the clutch pedal not releasing? Is the pedal sticking or not depressing far enough?
