need your help once again!

i want to fit some spacers under me spring mounts at the rear so as to level the disco up on the drivers side, currently shes sitting about 1/2 inch lower on drivers side?
but being a tight arse i dont want to buy them of ebay i want to make them at work.

question is does anyone have the dimensions for the hole pitch?

as always any help will be much appreciated

cheers

Wouldn't it be better to sort out why there is a discrepancy first? All you're doing with that approach is masking a symptom, you need to cure it, hence why no-one in their right mind will tell you the dimensions.

ive just put all new springs and shocks on, so no need to replace any parts,
when i finished the suspension i noticed that the drivers side is sitting 1/2" lower than the passenger?

cheers

And?

Something is wrong, it should sit level, spacers will only make it worse, in the long term.

I'd check the spring holders at the top, make sure the springs are fitted in them properly, and sat on the lower mounts flat. Drive around for a while so they bed in correctly, you might hear a few bangs and twangs!

Also check the shock turrets and hangers for squareness.

Another one, that's a bit stranger but has been known, is the ARB drop links, make sure they're the same way round and fitted correctly, the rears particularly can flip over if the axle droops too low ...

correct me if ime wrong but on disco's orignal springs the n/s/f is slightly shorter to off set the weight of transfer box , so if you fit a set of all same height it will lift n/s/f slightly and pich o/s down

:5biagree::5biagree::5biagree::5biagree::5biagree: wot storm sed

People, people, people ... we can't all go agreeing with what Storm said, jeez where would we be then?

Chaos, that's where we'd be ....

I read about the spacers on here!

they sell the spacers in paddocks, ebay, and a few other suppliers so i think its safe to say its quite common.

a few posts on here say its normal to sit slightly down on drivers side due to transfer box etc? think im gonna let it settle for a bit?

Ant , whatever you think about the advice given , after a double check to make sure all is secure and seated , drive and let it bed in for a while mate , before making a decision . Reckons I ....

The spring spacers at Paddocks are to raise the vehicle cheaply .. they are NOT levellers ...
