Im thinking of geting some spotlights for my A'bar and was just wondering if anybody could suggest some decent ones. and also, If i happen to go through some big puddles while off roading :clap2: will this knacker them, so is there even any point geting some in the first place?? cheers

Roo lights, LightForce are best IMHO. But you could just get some Wipac and some silicon to help seal them.

My cheap Ring ones have been fine though after using silicon. Water would run down the cable into the housing and short the bulb.

I found this link helpful for a few things re driving lights and other modifications and ideas being made to a Defender. Has a wiring diagram etc. The lights they chose seem cheap enough and do the job.

Most lights have a small drainage hole in the casing, which just needs to be turned over if the light is mounted inverted.

I have 6 cheap 55watt ring jobbies took a whole tube of silicone sealer to get them all water tight but can testify that after a serious few months of testing they are still water tight Jai
