New to LR ownership with a 2006 Vogue with a few issues to sort.

Not sure if this will be of help to you but have a read through this lot: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-ro...hen-coolant-leak-and-cracked-manifold.381697/

When I got mine it had a very slight coolant leak which quickly escalated. It was the alloy pipe set on the NS inner wing that had a pinhole in one of them and that made it drip on to the chassis rail and run out of the back of the subframe as well as the front and across to the OSF too. It wasn't hugely expensive to resolve but you have to buy the part from LR as it is only for the L322 and I would suggest replacing the two control solenoids at the same time as it will be easier and you won't want to revisit this job.

FBH is in the wheel arch on the NS under the battery BTW. Not too bad to change at all but I'd doubt that is where your leak is.

Keep us informed.
Thanks for this! I'll be having a good read of that over the break.
Haven't managed to get out much to it recently which is a bit frustrating. Hopefully soon.

Thanks.

So it's been a while since I had some time to crack on here.
The coolant doesn't seem to be leaking that I can actually see.
it hasn't changed since the last top up.

Still no heat from the rear though so I'm thinking it might be the bulkhead valve that I need to look at.

The stuff leaking out that I though initially was blue is actually looking like diesel so must be something along the drivers side fuel lines.

The drivers window being broken is the switch pack. Stuck at the bottom with no click to get it up. With the glass being loose it looked like the cable had gone but it seems it was taken out of the mech to allow it to be closed and taped shut.
So the buying of a second hand mech wasn't needed.

I'm guessing this is why the wing mirrors won't adjust as well. So one will need to be ordered.

I also did an oil and filter change with a manual fluid pump which made it an absolute doddle. The amount of oil changes I've done getting oil all over me where I could have one of those!

Air and cabin filters done.

Changed the diesel filter too and that's when I noticed the colour was like that of the drip.

Things to do:
1. Sort out the handbrake as it can't even hold the car in drive or reverse at idle.
2. Find out where the diesel leak is.
3. Buy a new battery. The current one has been on the trickle for ages but there are still random issues throughout that won't hurt to have a go at changing it to see if they go away.
