Just fitting spots to my FL1. Presumably a PO fitted a factory option spot light switch - extreme LHS of console. Does anyone know where I can find the connector to the lights ? Will this be main beam configured and is it via a relay?

I can trawl RAVE and work it out, but feelin lazy !

Cheers.............

The wiring isn't there for spots. The factory kit came with the necessary harness, plugs, screws, brackes, switch and relay. If you don't have the harness, you'll need to make your own. But yes it connects to the main beam circuit, via an extra relay. ;)

Aha - badly written question - apologies. I already have a spot lamp switch on LHS of console. If the loom etc has been fitted by a PO where will the end be ??Hopefully somewhere near the grille ?? Looked at RAVE accessory instructions but they are not at all clear and are a step by step but not with wiring diagrams. Designed for 'fitters' not modifiers !

o.k - so switch is there - loom is not ! So making one up - has anyone got the diagram for the aux spot switch - it looks complicated and has 5 pins on the back, presume switch contacts themselves, earth and a connection for lighting it up?!?! Anyone know which is which - or is it an hour with a multimeter and some croc clips !?

Thanks - looks the same switch as mine - complicated by the 'glow' when lights on then bright when spots on feature. Will check out my switch pins 1 to 5 and see if it would work like this one. I prefer switched earths, saves putting live wires through the car and means fuse can be placed elsewhere to switch on +ve side. Cheers
