split charger or double battery

Hi,
Trying to get me noggin around this one. getting conflicting answers.
Fitted a winch to my 90, do I go for a second deep cycle style battery and decent split charger
or
Two batteries (same) and just double the amp hours but keeps it simple ?
Not intending to do winch competitions etc just self recovery and so on.

I put 2 batteries on my 110, the largest I could fit in, same alternator, powers a laptop/printer and other stuff all day, never runs flat.

tiz now - chances are wont have the CB running tho - cant seem to figure out how to mount the aerial

second battery with an isolator switch between to always keep one battery charged (for starting)

nope - an the aerial on Tufftee was wired up crap (centre conductor screwed to ground) so I gorra rethink it completely.

Ahhhh, therein lies the problem.

I'll see if I can find me old mount. Same as the wun you had. Got Wed' & Thurs' off ter do nuffink but mess wiv me Landy, so if I find the mount we'll get something sussed by the W/end no prob.

just a bit worried about charging

daft Why don't you just buy a magmount and stick it on the roof?

a - coz i will rip it orf.
b - i just dismantled a mag mount to fit he aerial to the roll hoop.
c - its me bein pedantic agin
