Speedo reading change

Hi all,
Having had to change the instrument panel on my 2002 preface lift disco td5. I now have the problem that the mileage is flashing wrong.
How can i reset it to read correct?

You need to connect a diagnostic machine to stop it flashing. The original mileage is held in the BCU and the new mileage (guessing it's lower) is on the new panel - you need a diagnostic machine to tell the panel that the BCU mileage is the correct one.

would Hawkeye or Nanocom do this or is it the testbook type??

With Hawkeye you can certainly de-select the flashing. Whether you can calibrate the old mileage onto the new set of clocks, I don't know.
