Hi - not been on here in ages as baby hectic-ness has limited spare time to nil..

ANYWAY - had the rozzers round at my door a minute ago telling me that they were investigating me being involved in a crash on the M6 last month. I've not left Scotland this year.

Long and short is turns out that someone's been on here and taken car numberplate details off and put them on dodgy motors. The Fuzz actually named this site and I confirmed that theres no pics of my car anywhere else on-line and that my cars been under a tarp for 2 years.

So, if you have photos on ere with your number visible, good idea to get them orf.

(so how DO you take pics OFF the gallery?)

Cheers folks

****.All me pics have got me nice new bonnet mounted plate on it.Still its sorned and not likely to move at the mo either

still if ya ever park any where or drive for that matter it aint hard to jot down a number plate.

Can't the gallery just be locked so only members can veiw it? seems an easyer fix to me?
Amazing the fake didn't get pulled over for not being taxed aint it ;)
TBH they must be dickheads or they'd pick a car that's actually got tax :)

Why would they need to come on here to be able to nick numberplates off landys? All they need to do to associate a number plate with a landy is sit next to the A30 for half an hour with a pad of paper or a camera, or buy a copy of autotrader! Are you saying we should bleep them out in real life???

Tis one way to stop the speeding tickets arriving on the doorstep I spose.:p

this happened last year with motorbikes people were stealing bikes worth £6k upwards then robbing plate details off similar bike then selling them, the new owner would get pulled up police find out its stolen and loose the lot

and also you can get number plates made up anywere including ebay and you dont need any documents.

My landy had the same thing last year when one had been impounded by the police and i got a letter saying it had been impounded and can i come and get it or it would be crushed, when i told the lady on the phone it had been in my garage sorn for the last 18 months she said i would have to get the police round to prove that my landy was mine and not the one in the compound. i didnt bother and i havent heard anything since.
