Hi all,

I’m trying to bleed the ABS brakes on my soft dash LSE. I’ve bought an Easy bleed and am following the instructions in the workshop manual. However, nothing is coming through when opening the nipples. There is some feel in the pedal but not much.

Any advice?

Hi

I would disconnect the brake bleeder , put some cling film over ur brake master cyl , take out ur bleed nipples in turn, then check each one that there nice and clean and free from obstructions , , also use a torch to ensure the calliper holes are also nice and clean , then put back and try again

Don’t forget don’t let the ABS modulator empty as u then may need diagnostics

See how u get on plse

Thanks. The nipples and hoses are clean. Last night I got fluid to come through the front callipers.

However, the ABS pump is not running. It sounds like it is just clicking instead of coming on. It did pump during one of the first bleeding attempts. Shorting the pump gets it to run. Is there a way of getting it to run as normal?

Try swapping the relay.
