This was a ride done in Late September/Early October. It was a blast, my first trail ride ever. Jerry, the guy with the jeep, knows his stuff. His CJ5 is a nice rig, he keeps his cars in great condition (Mechanically) his other car is a porsche 944. He has helped me fix multiple problems with my rover.

The rover had almost as good of a time as I did! We killed the muffler though... It was getting a little old and the 7 hours of crawling and revving up finally did it in.

Nice location, what was wrong with the LR set up that you could not get up that small incline. Were you by any chance trying to crawl up in low gear with the engine idling?

At the time we didn't have the engine tuned up quite right so so it could have been a power issue, I think more likely it was the fact that we had no weight in the back and we kept spinning out.

In retrospect I would have tried to drive up it in a higher gear so the tires wouldn't have spun so easily but it was the first time I had ever tried driving offroad. My tires are a little hard for grabbing a hold of rocks, something that Jerry's low PSI tires had no problem doing.

Roof rack/roll cage looks heavy duty, did it make the LR roll/lean much on corners, just thinking if the mass was acting like a pendulum and costing you traction on the rough ground?

We actually just took that rack off. It was useful for hauling stuff but it didn't look very good IMO. I didn't notice much leaning, but it was a fairly flat trail. I would assume my Center of Gravity is a bit lower now, I need to get out on a trail and see If I notice a difference.

Dont think so but hey, who cares when they have one of these Cam1 couldn't quite work out if the big pan is for frying them in or hitting them with, and according to the News-Miner web site if you check the Arctic web-cam on their building you can see the Xmas lights, last updated May 30th 2008  :D

Lolz, That was fort knox mine. We took the old mining trails on the back side. Its about 20 or 30 miles from my house. The trails aren't used very much anymore and are open to offroading, the mine is still pumping out the nuggets every once and a while though.

The Runner is a moving, sincere Age of Conan Gold piece of art. Despite that, most audiences might not have even noticed that it went through the theaters like a desert breeze. It’s made a modest showing internationally, and pulled in $15.4 million in its limited Age of Conan Power Leveling US release. Critics, however, remained mixed, although most of the negative reviews placed the film up against the poetic genius of its source material ?C the best selling novel by Khaled Hosseini.
