Snorkels and Light bars on a series

It's an easy option to use the Heater Intake hole in the wing, but it makes the Snorkel pipework very vulnerable to being ripped off when in tight spots. I much prefer making a new hole on the Driver's side next to the Bonnet.

ive got a custom made stainless snorkel on my s3, with a metal mushroom top, but no air filter. do many of you lot run them without filters, or should i consider putting one inline somewhere??

thanks

Given the fact I now own "Hayley" the A407 *** Series 3 SWB green/creme landy above now, and have done for several months, I can confirm what a bodge job has been done on the snorkel by one of the previous owners! Potentially "Grippa" or before as he has posted pics.

Nice job on the SS pipe and mushroom kit, but then bodged with the pipe hanging under the wing doing nothing! Something I failed to spot at purchase along with some other items.

This is now being properly rectified by fitting a used MOD air/oil bath filter housing which has the correct inlet and outlet pipes to connect to the standard 2.25 diesel. No good having a snorkel doing nowt, this could have resulted in some unhappy wading recently if I had'nt have spotted it!

Go **** yerself. I sold it 'unplumbed' and not to you. If you're so stupid you didn't check you don't deserve to own a ****ing superb Series III. I bitterly regret ever selling that one so if that's the most youcan find to complain about & it irks you that much, give it back to me & shut your whining neck. :D

Wanna new pet?;) :D :D :D

Do you still get out and about in yer series? Aint seen you out playing in the gloopy stuff for a while now.

Wot him? Nah yer can keep that 'un!

Bin moving house, changing jobs & me Doris has been working Saturdays so no laning for far too long now. Also, aside from Salisbury there int much around here that you can drive at this time of year without causing excessive damage.

New Year me Mrs stops the Saturdays, I'll git around to doing me frunt UJs & I'll be back out there. ;)
