snapped propshaft

just driven 85 miles from blackpool,10 miles from home and my u.j decided to do an escape act and send my prop south of my travel direction....luckily no one was behind me! So im now waiting for my own personak flatbed to arrive n take me home. Is anyone breaking a p38 auto that wants 2 help me get back on the road in the next few days?

where are you? i know of 2 people that have props if you close to me i will help no prob

When did you last check and grease the u/j's ? - for one to let go like that it must have been worn/dry for ages
Could you not just remove the remains of the broken shaft and drive home of it's only 10 miles ?

ive had the car just short of 2 months and havent touched the car, but i did ask the wonderful garage to let me know of anything that caught tehir eye when the were doing the exhaust and rear brake lines....nothin was said, so i pressumed all ok:doh:

im slightly worried now, as even tho the selector is in park, the lights showing up as being in reverse...i hope to foook that i havent ballsed my box up aswell some how

private sale for the car mate, garage just did the brakelines as i couldnt be arsed doing them.

the garage would just deny any knowledge of the request, had a few issues with their "PRICING" and "quotes" wasnt a happy bunny with them, so im gonna do the dirty work myself....just means the astra's wont get finished for a while:doh:
