Any help greatly appreciated

i would leave the snapped plug in place , it should be fine with 3 good glowpuugs,
time /effort / cost and risk perfection is great but costs ,
would always use a hexagonal socket when trying to remove glowpuugs , never use 12 point multi sockets unless you want to round off the nut , i had to adapt a socket specifically for this job to enable to get the reach also a 1/2 inch drive gives it plenty of purchase

If it still works......I'd leave it, 3 plugs should be fine on the TD4 engine. Failing that give me a shout(I'm only in Stanley!), I'll tow start you! I wouldn't be pulling the head off unless there was a problem that needed me to. A glow plug doesn't fit that category.

Found a bloke in Carlisle extract engineering can take them out with the head in place for £70 + £37 an hour travelling sounds good to me may be handy for a few people on here as that's not all he does have a look on his web site

Nice to see you've handily posted the link to the guy's website. Most people just make you guess the bloke's name and web address.
