I went to change my glow plugs yesterday, soaked them in plus gas and got the engine warm before trying to get them out.Three came out with no problems the fourth just snapped. So reading through threads and reading what other members had done and problems with the electrode dropping into the cylinder I really couldn’t be chewed with it all.

I found this company based in Newcastle http://ukinjectorremoval.co.uk/
Sent a message thinking he would fit me in at some point next week, next thing I had a phone call off him saying he can come today and the price quoted £160 was a lot less then I was thinking especially with it been a Sunday and he is nice lad to boot.

If the thread is still in the head, then I'd use it with 3 working plugs. It'll start fine, but will be a bit lumpy for a few seconds. The M47R starts so well that most people don't even notice if a plug has gone down.

The threads where still in but it’s starting bad enough cold as it is without the help of that :(so thought better get it sorted and for £160 quid he came and done it no drama no fishing around for electrodes in and out within an hour.

Might have to give them a call - I need the glow plugs replaced on my Astra, and Pound to a Penny one of them will bloody snap!
