Hello there, new to the forum and a start.

Iv come to replace the sliding window channels, but im needing the spacers that fit with them. Cant find them anywhere. Spacer for the bottom of the sliding window not the vertical ones that iv seen.

Thanks

I replaced the felt channel in the bottom of the frame a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly, they just had small self tappers which screwed into the bottom of the door top if that makes sense. I can't recall seeing a specific channel in which the felt runner fitted into like there was on the vertical channels. The bottom felt channel has metal frame to it and drops straight in. The issue I had is that the window lock slot was in the wrong place (slightly). I had to cut the channel and fit accordingly.

MTC3180 is the part number, pads out the gap between the track and the window frame side and the front glass and the rear of the window frame. It's just a piece of Z section ally channel so anything the right size that fits should do the job. Or just fill the gap with silicone.

Hi i to am replacing my complete door top and i have all the bits i just need to salvage my glass which im haveing trouble with because this is not the first time its been done and they siliconed the non sliding peice in whats the best way of getting that silicon out to remove the glass without breaking it ?? currently using a very thin sharp scraper to dig it out

Yup - Stanley knife (or similar) and loads of patience.
