Just a quick question... I "lost" my side air intake cover on the wing... i've MacGyvered a cover with slots out of a piece of plastic but I'm wondering how important this bit is? I mean with respect to water, dirt and such...I mean it does draw air in so when it rained heavily I'm sure bit of water went in too... but should I order a new one immediately or get someone just fabricate something out of aluminum grill or similar?

Cheers

Gary

Thanks guys... cheap as chips they may be over your way but in the middle if colombia south America I would say not so easy to come by...

Will see if I find a distributor here somewhere...

it's not easy to figure this is a UK based forum and not so global so I will forgive you (this time... :p)

That's a good idea I will see what they have in the
Ferreteria when we hit the next larger town. I need to take a pic of my (ahem) temporary fix.. it's a real hack job!

Cheers,

Gary

Those bodge it body filler/ fibreglass kits come with a piece of mesh and are available separately to, from body shop supply places or accessories shops.
Might be an easier source of the mesh?
