shaft required for mot?

Just wondering if the vcu and shaft need to be on Freelander in order to pass mot or Irish version nct?

Not sure about NCT but it would pass UK MOT.

Having the props and VCU removed is classified as a modification and so will fail the Irish NCT. It will pass the UK MOT however.
