hi I wonder if anyone could advise......
I need to give my 06td4 an engine service, filters oil etc.
It appears it's been a while judging by the service book.....I've kind of inherited the car.

Could anyone tell me where the best place to buy filters etc from and also what brand is recommended?
I've tried search online but there seems to be so many options!

Many thanks
Alex

ooooo .. i like the look of that 'advanced factors' site :)

i've been buying filters from my local LR dealership
just to know i'm getting suitable quality products ..
thing is .. prices are a bit on the high side

had been looking thru various websites ..
not all (very few) seem to list the brand names
and i want to know exactly what i'm buying quality-wise ..
e.g would prefer to know the filters be Mahle or name with a similar reputation

was going to chance an order with 'opie oils' ...
might go with 'advanced factors' now ..

( edited to add ) the filter kits on this site are by 'Bearmach'
http://www.difflock.com

btw: i've been re-using the cabin pollen filters
normally get the charcoal impregnated ones from 'puravent'
figured i'd try vacuuming the filter .. then washing it in bio detergent ..
( with some mild disinfectant .. )
then another soak in bicarbonate of soda solution ..
then leave to dry in an airing cupboard ..

so far seems to work fine

I've been using Advanced Factors for a few years now. The proprietor Steve only sells products that exceed his exacting standards.
AF are well known on many LR forums.
Just this week I took delivery of a complete set of rear discs, pads and EPB shoes for the Discovery 3.
