Hi I have a possibility of an early 107 truck cab, never been registered for road use, used on a sheep farm/science project to monitor what came outa sheep  had a good look around it, all body panels bare birmabrite bulkhead well a vague outline is left in the rust and the chassi is none recoverable would I be insane to take this on as a first project? I wil have to try and get the chassi number and see if it is of any significance
What do people think
Cheers
Ken

If you have a well equipped, warm, dry garage, infinite patience, good mechanical/welding/fabrication/internet search abilities and a bottomless wallet and you're looking for a hobby - go for it.
Alternatively you might just be certifiably insane........

I was thinking certifiably insane :d I'll get some pics next week hopefully and chassi number will probably be too much for me To do but would be good for someone who has the time space and fabrication ability :(. Thanks for the feedback though :)

Lol :) I think I may start with something a little less ambitiouse but I'll still get price/ pics etc good to know what's about and if not of any historical significance then would be good for panels at least to get someone else back on the road

if your mad on series 1 landys and want something special i know of a series 1 1949 registered all original never restored but dry stored for the last 28 years pretty solid and apparantly one of the first 500 off the assembly line with all the original paperwork including the original bill of sale

the fella thats got it has another same year but only his is fully restored original and one of the first 100 off the production line and wont sell that

the stored one he wants £2500 for it as hes at the age hell never finish it in time to reap the benefit but is selling for that price to make sure its going to an enthusiast whose going to give it the treatment it deserves
