Seat Head rest

Hi to all,
Defender seats year 1995. Can anyone help! i have taken the head rest out when i cleaned it and i cannot get the bloody thing back in is there some secret button or something??????
I tried taken my time and and i have knocked seven bells of Kack out of it and i cannot get it back in.
Any ideas??????
