Scrap Discovery 1 inner wings - free to collector

Thought I'd float this idea on here before it goes to the scrapper.

I've got the bare remains of my old Disco 1 (1994 300tdi) which is due to be cut up and weighed in soon.
Just wondered if anybody would like to cut out the old, rotten inner wings in their entirety, repair them at their leisure then and fit them onto their Disco as a complete fix and refurb for very little money. The advantage being that person doesn't have to take their Disco off the road for a long period of time whilst they repair the rot, as you'll have a refurbished front end to simply weld back in.

They aren't in the best of conditions at all but to a competent welder with the sheet metal, this won't be a problem, as they are complete with no crash damage etc.

I don't want anything for them, just requires collection from Tamworth.

No, I'm not having a giraffe.
A lot of what can be seen in the pics is orange surface rust and makes them look worse than they are.

Either somebody can take advantage of the offer or not. It makes zero difference to me either way and see no harm in simply asking the question.

Does it have any tax and test any service history

I know its not what you have posted about, but did i spy a 4 bolt steering box in the pics? mine is leaking like a sieve!!

i'm sure most of that will polish out. that t-cut stuff meant to be very good lmao. Kinda get what your offering here.

can I have one of your wheel nuts please or even just the dust cover? this isnt a joke one of mine came back from the tyre fitters minus a silver dust cover.
