Sat on Hard Shoulder with a blown H/G

Expansion tank cracked due to the pressure valve not letting pressure out, so, was driving home carefully + slowly stopping reguarly to top up expansion tank - got back in after a top up and temp guage was on red so killed engine and it went pop.

Recovery on way, just gotta sit and eat a big tub of haribo till they get here.

Work on Monday could be interesting though

Whereabouts? Someone close might give you a tow off rather than pay for a m-way recovery ... unless you're 'in the club' and have it covered anyway >>

M6 south bout 5 miles after M56 - but, for once I can't moan at flux (yet) recovery on route to take me all the way home!

In the disco, but, when the Series broke I called RAC and they'd only tow me 10 miles.

No sweat then, too far for me anyhow ...

Yup, fine for getting home, its the next part I need to work out (the getting it fixed part)
