There's always a reason to get something new!

What would you advise as good protection for laning then?

Plenty of cash in the bank to fix it afterwards.:D

hes right ya know!

steering guard! i didnt think it would be needed, and then totally ****ed it - like 35 degree bend angle on the rod - at a pay and play the other week. so yea get yerself one of them. then tree sliders maybe. apart from that nothing much. pot of paint to get rid of dents and scratches if you are that way inclined!

yea one of the more vulnerable ones. one of the only as well i think. ask the more experienced guys but i would say from personal experience that a steering guard is a good idea!

ha yea were a bit nutty. who actually attempted it all then. me brett and pintsize - cant remember who else :c

was some pretty steep ascents and descents. been doing that the previous weekend so was well up for it. one of the best and most fun things you can do in a landy imo!

Looks like a good time was had by all. Nice to see Pintsize out, hope the RAV performed well since the engine rebuild. Bet the RAV showed a few Landies up too. Top woman Pintsize. :D

Cheers luvvie :D
Didn't do too bad. Was a bit unsure of her capabilities and the beginning of the day, but she didn't let me down. Only got a problem with the speedo and the moment (using the satnav and hope I'm doing the right speed past the cameras) and the gearbox is playing up a bit.

You missed a good day out.

The photo of my attempt quite clearly shows how i embedded the indicator into that bank.. LOL..

What a great day. Will need to get some dislocation cones, and a ready supply of replacement indicators.

ahh i was on about those steep ascents and descents near gratham water

im looking into dislocation cones - may be a worthwhile investment!

Here's my pics for the day......
