I'm organising a Alning day this Sunday to do Santa Pod & Grafham Water Lanes, as they open on the 1st May.

Stick your name down if you want to go, so that I can send out meeting point details by PM.
If you can keep your posts just to your names only that would be helpful. I'd be happy to answer ant questions either by PM or post on the Herts Lanes thread.

I've sent out meeting point PMs. Anybody that wants to go that hasn't had a PM, let me know pronto.

Just to get us in the swing of things:

Spyderman I gotta bail tomorrow Sorry, Today was lots of fun too much fun I broke a britpart special driev shaft that seesms to have been made of toffee. Jai

Jai,
Your drivetrain was making some very funny noises last night I thought. I think Phil is coming over to you tonight to rescue my Waffle Boards, just in case they're needed tomorrow, plus I think you might have one of my shackles.

ahh in that case - spyderman have you got a big feck off spanner that'll fit what i think is a 36 or 38? need to tighten the drop arm and dont have a spanner even approaching it and could only find spanners and adjustables to 35!

I know its late in the day but since we are not going tomorrow we have spare jate rings, shackles and strop if it is needed

if not dont worry - got the screwfix catalogue through yesterday so will order a bigun if thats a no go!

see you all tomorrow

I'll bring Spydermans waffle boards and some spaners but Im sure my drop arm is only 36mm ish meet you lot at the services in Da Van! Jai

Well quite a day. 40ft is still closed, but everything else is open. Ground is very dry and hard, apart from a few places. We found a couple of sticky bits, which caught me out for one, went into what looked pretty innocuous only to sink into the ruts, needed a little tug backwards, then had another go and ploughed it smooth for those following.
A few casualties today, nothing major though.
Booger bent his bumper
Kris300TDI broke an indicator as did Mr V
Gibbo_Phil knocked a tyre of the bead and got stones into an other, so in effect 2 punctures. Managed to change 1 and get the stone out of the other, so nothing that cant be sorted for not much money.

Certainly did some miles today, sun was shining, live is good.:D

Thanks for navigating again Brett, and for coming to find me when I got lost :)
