salvage yard for 4 X 4 in Norfolk

Hey ya folks, been trying to find a dedicated 4 by 4 salvage yard. Im from Norwich in Norfolk, and the internet says there is one near where I live, but drove over and nowt but some taxi grave yard.

Does anyone know of any salvage yards that deal with 4 by 4s?

Be great to have a look at what they got, to try and save the pennies!

I live in Norwich too. I`m told there is one on the Norwich to Poringland Road. Go out on that road, keep going til you go down a dip which has a pub on the right. Its just past there on the right side with Landy and other scrap parts apparently. Never been there myself but was told of it a few weeks ago. `Course that might be the one you already tried :rolleyes:, if so sorry.
Whereabouts are you, I`m on Wroxham Road. Maybe get together sometime?
 
there used to be one, on the bungay road/norwich road aint been there in a good 12months as i thought it closed or moved, well it used to be if you were coming from norwich, you go past the pub on your right called the dove, then thres a road called, dove lane or summing like a cross roads. you will then see a entrance to a industrial estate i think, if you go down there thats also on the right, then bear left up a slight hill from memory it used to be up there you drove through a load of containers n stuff like that or lorries anyway it used to be up there, il have a look for a postcode now for you

just found it on google maps its smartened up alot since i been there lol

lol cheers 1079smarty. SMart = expensive? lol. Well you might be talking about same place, as both near each other. Well im going to go and find them today.Chico929, that sounds like a plan, meeting up sometime. I have just contacted what I think is our local landrover club, breckland one. you a member?
 
there is somewhere that advertises out near Lakenheath, will write the phone number down next time I go that way, maybe tomorrow.

My mate has joined Breckland, I`m gonna join Suffolk 4x4, then we get the best of both worlds :)

sweet briar road 4 by 4 does not exist, so internet rubish. I found SJA which is ran by young chap Steve, about 15 miles from Norwich. He is pretty good. Didn't go to the site, as I knew what I wanted, and he knew what he had, so went to his house, which is close by.

got safari snorkel, rear leather looking seats (seats two) in new condition,
mantec swing arm wheel carrier (heavily corroded, which needed a complete refurb) cost me about £25 to sort out inc paints etc, axel guard (round type) and a heavy duty steering guard. A disco 16R/230 wheel and not bad tyre to be my spare wheel. All in £230
