Rubber rear window

I just finished putting foil on my rear window. I took the whole window out.

But now I have a piece of rubber left( looks like it needs to sit on a profile or so) it is about 1 feet long???

And I have no idea wher it belongs? Any body an idea?

Is it possibly the window channeling thats dropped out?

Yeps...its the rubber window channel that the glass sits on...its time to take window out and see where its missing...

does it go on the underside of the window? Than I do not need to take the whole window ou right? just the back pannel? It than goes between the two holders which are mounted on the window to take it in place?

I'm not sure how the glass sits on your vehicle...it should be simple enough though...these rubber strips tend to stick to the glass when you take it out...then, as in your case...get forgotten when the new glass goes in..

oooooh ok, than it slided of when I took the window out to put the foil on. That makes sense, as I could not recall that I had seen it when I took it all apart.

whoa, it goes down the edge of the door card(plastic lining), as you open the door it should be the first thing you see.
