Having sold my Passat Estate after 12 years and loving the FL2, have now encountered a couple of minor problems.
First one is most pressing. I am used to being able to put a Christmas tree on the roof of the Passat - by my FL doesn't have roof rails or roof bars to let me do this. Can anyone suggest a suitable set of roof bars which don't need the rails?
Secondly, I had a metal dog guard in the Passat (dog sadly no longer with us). It was particularly useful as it was fixed in place and allowed us to load a lot more luggage into the boot without any fear of it falling into the cabin. I have seen some which brace themselves against the internal frame, but these are not very good. I want one which I can secure in place and the FL seems to have fittings in the boot which would allow this. Again, can anyone give a recommendation?
