Rivnut/ Nutsert tool

Does anyone have a rivnut / nutsert tool suitable for m10's (?) that I could borrow please? Only need to stick 6 of the things in on me new bulkhead aa ah don't fancy payin' £100 for a new tool to do the job!! Will pay for postage tho'

ive got one but postage wont be cheap as it weighs in at about 6kg. might be worth trying a local body shop near to you or garage, its now a popular tool for body shops and i would suspect many garages/body shops will have one they would be willing to lend you for a few hours.

Dunno Daft? The holes are already there for me heater box, fuel filter holder and steering bracket but they're in/on the double skinned bit with no access behind.
Oh, and it's a Td5 bulkhead goin' on a 200Tdi

You need 2 nuts, 1 bolt and 1 washer that fit the thread of the rivnut. Put a clearance drill through 1 nut so that it has no thread and slides up and down the bolt.
Push the rivnut into the hole, wind the threaded nut and washer onto the bolt, then slide the drilled nut onto the bolt under them, then screw the bolt into the rivnut. It should go in far enough that the thread of the bolt is fully engaged with the thread of the rivnut. Tighten the threaded nut / washer down onto the drilled nut and wind it up tight, so that the bolt tries to pull the rivnut out of the hole, but it can't because the drilled nut is holding it in. The rivnut will then deform inside the hollow section as designed.
Loosen the threaded nut and test to see if the rivnut is tight - if not, wind it up a bit more.

I used a blob of superglue on em when I did me snorkel and then ah put a nut & a washer on a bolt and then anuffer nut nut with the thread drilled out and anuffer washer. Then I screwed the nut into the insert and held the bolt so it couldn't turn while I unscrewed the nut this pulls the nutsert tite with out it turning in the hole.

Like this.

ear Buster, we had a crackin day's shootin today!
invited a neighbouring farmer as a guest and he let us shoot his land. we ended up with 25 pheasants, 5 woodcock and 3 pigeons.
