K, i have some steel rims, and there valved, but i wanna pull the valves out and put tubed tyres on them. Can i do it? cos i'm certain i cant put valve type tyres on tube rims

I am sprised at yu, Grippa - everyone knows the reason fur fitting tubes is coz it is sposed to stop the tyrewall coming off the rim under heavy side loads, particularly at low pressure!

rememba my "puncture"? Thas wot happened there.

yu can get two dif size valves in tubes - I know coz I still gorra 7:30*16 tube from my series - burrit wont fit Disco rims - it will only fit "older" Series rims - coz they gorra bigger valve hole!

Tubeless tyres are meant to be safer - because they are sposed to deflate in a more "controlled" manner - tubed tyres are more likely to go "BANG!" and deflate suddenly - catastrophic on a motorway at 70.

hehe,. nah its for the series3 when i gets to go back on the road (cant afford tax so it's been put away for 2 months). The disco is getting some insa turbo rangers for its MOT in august :D

you know, after all that, there basically the same as what i've got, with just a more roady middle tread pattern with lugs on the side....... dont look like that on the pics, found them on ebay..... back to the drawing board!

so i've heard ;), lookin for an AT though for more grip in rain. And the insa turbo rangers seem good, gonna get some 235/70's for disco and 235/80's for series when we can afford it

atleast now i dont need to sacrifice some valves now
