Reverse gear not engaging

Hi, Reverse gear usually won't engage on my LT77 gearbox. On the odd occasion it does, I have to be very light on the clutch and not put too much power through or it won't stay in. This has been getting progressively worse (Isuppose it was never going to go away!) I even have to park now so that I can drive out forwards! Any ideas on how to sort it, please...
