good evening all,
just wondered if any one has had a issue with there rev counter,
mine seems to dance to the music,:banana:
i'm not moaning bless her lil black booties, she's done more miles in the last two weeks (with out any problems).
the starting fault i had originaly has gone, and after over a year of of starting first time, even after being left for nearly 6 weeks, (simple fix for any of you that has that silly problem, were your disco thinks the batterys flat, then start's) ;),
but now i'm lost to the rev counter, have checked the alternator and the wiring, just wernt to sure what to do next, any help guys :D

What did you do to plug on the alternator. Might be worth changing for a new connector and making sure its crimped on better.

I had the same problem, tacho never been right since i got it in January.
Then the speedo started going funny too.
Posted question on 2nd May, sure enough alternator connector was a bit loose.
....it's been fine since {holds breath!}

Ahhhhhhh thanks guys, i jsut looked at it at first and gave the it a little wiggle, (the wire)
but today i spent more then a min it and cleaned up the the connector, simples !!!
the rev counter has lost its groove :D
