replacement h4 bulbs

hi i want to replace headlamp bulbs to something better,ive looked at osram nightbreaker unlimited and ring xenon ultima,has any one any experiance on something decent,i bought some cheapes once for my disco 1 and they were rubbish. any advice would be grateful thanks john

Philips X-treme Power(the best price/quality ratio) or the best quality i've ever had is Philips X-treme Vision(a bit more expensive)...i tried a lot of others but these are far more bright than let's say Osram Nightbreaker

the cheap ones are us stick to the better known bulbs like ostram or Philips and you will be ok I have used the Osram Nightbreaker for the past 4 or 5 years and they are miles better than the standard bulbs

So are these just upgrades for the standard bulbs? basically just put them in and have brighter light?

thanks people think ill try phillips vision you only get what you pay for i guess,the 5.90 ones for the bin

good luck... report back with your review pls...i dont have shares in them believe me but i dont want to feel guilty ... just be aware that if the lamps are very old the mirror withing could become opaque in time then no bulbs would give you the desired light

So you would have to change the headlight if opaque?. Also can the fog light bulbs be replaced ?

Ive ordered some philips x-treme vison bulbs they will be here tomorrow so i will let you know what i think

i think it would not be easy as the facelift works with H7
